Spaghetti Carbonara

A classic Italian pasta dish made with eggs, cheese, pancetta, and pepper.

Ingredients


  • 200 Gram Spaghetti
  • 100 Gram Pancetta
  • 2 Piece Eggs
  • 50 Gram Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions


  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan and fry the pancetta until crispy.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan, and a pinch of pepper.
  4. Drain the pasta and reserve some of the cooking water.
  5. Toss the hot pasta with the pancetta, adding a little pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  6. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  7. Season with more pepper and Parmesan, then serve immediately.
